EKA Group is a multi-business organization operating in the building materials and systems markets of the construction sector. It was formed in 1946 in Limassol, Cyprus by Michael Th. Loizides and other prominent businessmen of the time.
Today, 4 generations later, EKA Group continues to be a family business that keeps growing both domestically and internationally (e.g., Greece, Dubai).
The main activities of the group consist of the following: wall tiles, flooring (floor tiles, wood/parquet flooring, carpet tiles, woven vinyl LVT, PVC, linoleum, and exterior flooring solutions), sanitary ware, bathroom furniture & accessories, mixers/taps, hydromassage systems, spa – sauna – steam baths and special products & accessories for wellness, office furniture & accessories, office partitions, acoustic & decorative solutions, façade solutions, and technical materials such as void formers for buildings, expansion joints & tile accessories, and adhesives & waterproofing material.
The company is widely known for the supply and installation of products/services that relate both to the interior and the exterior of a private or public project (e.g private house, block of flats, offices, hotels, public parks, etc). The group represents top brands of the industry such as Antonio Lupi, Bisazza, Klafs, Jacuzzi, Versace, Gardenia, Zucchetti, Buchtal, Mirage, Porcelanosa Group, Iris, Mipa, Inda, Cielo, Fantini, Tubes, Scirocco, Steelcase, Interface, Forbo, 2tec2, Laticrete, and many more.

Building on Moments: A Journey Through Time
Our mission is to elevate the living and working environments of people by offering high quality innovative solutions for indoor and outdoor spaces.
- 1946 Established in 1946 with registration number 266. The initial field of activity was building materials such as steel, timber, cement, pipes, etc.
- 60s During the 60s the company expanded in the sanitary ware sector and later in the ceramic tiles sector.
- 70s By the 70’s the company became the market leader in those sectors representing exclusively leading firms such as: Jacuzzi, Klafs, Porcelanosa, Gardenia, Iris, Mirage, Buchtal, Inda, Bisazza, Antonio Lupi, etc.
- 80s During the 80’s the company expanded with the creation of the Technical Division representing the most reputable firms in the areas of adhesives, waterproofing, sealants and specialised construction materials. By the end of the 80’s EKA gained the No.1 status in the adhesives and waterproofing sectors. Some of the companies which are exclusively represented by EKA are: Laticrete, Index, Deflex, etc.
- 90s In 1991 EKA Group expanded in Greece by forming EKA HELLAS SA. Nowadays, the company focuses in providing interior office solutions to Greek & Multinational companies, by representing leading brands such as Steelcase and Interface. In 1992 EKA Group Cyprus expanded also in the area of interior office solutions representing companies in the following fields: raised floor / Nesite, demountable partitions / Movinord, underfloor air-conditioning and distribution of power / AET.
- 2000s In 2004 the group expanded into the UAE with EKA Building Systems.
- 2016 In 2016 we reached another big milestone. Our 70 Years Anniversary.
- 2025 Heading towards our 80years milestone on October 10th, 2026.
In 2017 the owner Mr. Louis Loizides (2nd generation) passed away, leaving EKA at the hands of the 3rd and 4th generation. In 2018 the company decided to refurbish a small area in Limassol premises in memory of Louis, which brought a new soul to their legacy. Louis, whose impact went far beyond the walls of EKA, was known for his vibrant passion for work, his deep commitment to building a meaningful community, and of course his fun personality. “Sky is the limit” was his motto. The café became a place where people from all walks of life could gather to experience creativity, just as Louis had always envisioned for EKA.
